Postcard decore

So recently I decided to make a few changes in my room ... I switched my bed with my table... But since my bed is a lot lower than the former, the ugly chipped and ruined part of my wall was made visible. So in order to cover it up, I came up with the following idea...why not take a few vintage looking postcard which i have collected over the summer, and with a help of some ribbon, make some paper drapes... I have a cord (one of those used to hang drapes from IKEA)running along my wall about a meter above the ledge of my bed and this i used for support.
Well If you have a similar problem or just want to make a colorful display, here is what you need ...
Postcards
Ribbon
Tape
Scissors
And something to hang this display on...a cord, a ledge or a blank wall...up to you
Now the How to.... its extremely easy... :D
Cut up your ribbon, so that when you line it along the postcards and gaps you'll have at least 15cm with which to tape or tie it up to whatever you care to hang each column on.
 Tape, tape, tape.....
Column...
Now tie or tape column by column up....

                                                                            Done :D

The sky I see

The sky is gray not black...
With the city in pars
For darkness lack
I can’t see stars

No wonder we’re not humble!
We want and want it all…
From within we start to crumble
We rise so we can fall

And all the light will shield my eyes
As I’m walked to my grave
We think that we are wise
A sheep hoard in a cave

A puzzle piece - who's lost its puzzle,
can try to charm - can try to dazzle...
They'll never take you as a whole -
- for all for one and one for all...

A coment on a quote

At one point in his life Tao Te Ching, the founder of taoism said, "Muddy water, let stand, becomes clear." I found it while I was researching the way of Tao for my brother's essay and it seemed to imprint itself on my mind. As for my interpretation, I believe the quote is about letting the course of time straighten things out for us, that there is no need to fight the unknown, because that would only make the watter murkier. But on my long bus ride from London to Sheffield I brought myself to wonder, the thing is, every time I let the watter clear up, let the sediments find themselves drawn to the bottom of the pool by their weight, the only thing that I can see clearer is the gravity of the situation - in other terms, how much muck is at the bottom. So riddle me this, how is one to live? Are we to swim and fight or rather sit at the edge with our motionless feet merely dipped in? How does one achieve cleanness, an is that the thing we are to strive for? Ether way if one choses to clean out their life, an do away with all guilt and regret, before the water can get cleaner, it must become stirred up and dirty. Though I have no right, but being of a rude and rebellious nature, I shall change the quote up a bit to match my own purposes. "Muddy water, let stand, becomes clear. When you see what is on the bottom, you are ready to choose your tools of cleaning it out..."

    light switch...

Its always the wrong  light switch...
I can never get it right I've lived in this place since forever, and yet I always pick the wrong one of the two...
yeah, I'm pretty much going insane, some would argue that the term 'going insane' is so pasé in regards to me. They are pretty sure that I've long since arrived at my destination...
But hey, its not so bad, at least I know where I'm at.
always at the corner, at the light switch, and alwais wondering why the light is on in the hallway and not on the stairs...

    Some fun earings...

These I made out of one of those old commie mugs...hammer + mug = fun
     cupcakes...
I saw these all over the net, naturally I had to make a pair of my own.
I love these because the freek the hell out of people...
